The Chemotherapy Unit, under the Medical Oncology department, provides services such as systemic therapy, combination therapy, hydration therapy, and subcutaneous injection of filgrastim and erythropoietin.
The department have the finest machine used in infusion therapy, the ICU Medical Plum 360. It is the advanced IV pump that has been proven to reduce medication errors and increase patient safety. It boasts industry-leading cybersecurity and complete IV-HER interoperability. Aside from beds, we also have recliners that help alleviates stress and promote relaxation while on treatment. It also offers an adult unit that provides breathtaking scenery that helps patients alleviate stress and promotes relaxation by merely glancing at the view of Mount Makiling. There is also the Pediatric Unit that offers a child-friendly environment wherein patients can relax and play while receiving chemotherapy services. Patients could have a child-life specialist on duty to give psychological support and counseling to family members as well at.
